Greetings! I'm Dr. Kenneth Holman, I will start in Fall of 2025 as an Assistant Professor in Special Education at the University of West Georgia. My current research focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in education to support personalized learning, especially in mathematics for students with disabilities. I am passionate about helping educators feel confident using AI tools to enhance engagement, accessibility, and instructional effectiveness. A long-term goal of mine is to develop a validated screener and targeted interventions for Developmental Dyscalculia (DD). Prior to entering higher education, I spent 11 years teaching in public high schools—eight years in Algebra 1 and two years in Support Facilitation for Algebra 1. I earned my Master’s in Special Education from Bethune-Cookman University in 2020 and my Ph.D. in Exceptional Student Education from the University of Central Florida in 2024.
